Memories

My foundation year FMP where I looked into memories. I focused on my own memories that I had with my mum, the 18 months we had after her diagnosis was a focus on making memories with her. My plan with this project was to create something that cherishes her whole life, and make the audience understand the importance of memories.

Foundation Year

A collage combining photographs, sketches, and handwritten notes about a fashion design project themed around the color pink and memories. The collage includes photos of two women, sketches of dress designs, fabric swatches, embroidery and handwritten notes, and a photo of a woman in a pink dress with a bouquet. There are also illustrations of dress designs, a portrait of a girl with short hair, and various notes explaining the design process and symbolism of the color pink.

Childhood

Beyond Surface: The brief for this unit was to develop and explore through shape, form, colour and texture. With this being applied to 6 final looks including a jersey sweatshirt.

Level 4 (Unit 1)

Picnics

Design Structure: This unit started with developing ideas through Object Based Research. Observing silhouette, form and function within our collated research. From initial ideas these were developed into garment designs, with 3 meters of white cotton we had to design, pattern cut and construct a dress shirt.

Level 4 (Unit 2)
